Thursday's Thought and Tricks

I am going to try a new thing, called Thursday's Thoughts and Tricks. I will give you a thought that's been on my mind, and a trick I know. This is a test run- so stick with me :)

I will start with the trick this week:

Have you ever been sitting in the car or sitting anywhere for that matter and without thinking- picked a zit?? I know I do it all the time, and then it won't stop bleeding, and it is super embarrassing! Is anyone with me?? Well I learned a little trick this week. Put Vaseline on the bleeding zit, and the bleeding will STOP! Amazing right?? And here is another little secret- use it for the nics on your legs after shaving! Problem solved! no more little pieces of toilet paper stuck to our legs and face! So I guess this would be a great tip for gentlemen too!

I had a profound thought to blog about yesterday, but it has completely left the building! So my thoughts are not too profound tonight but nice to get off the chest.

Reese and I started "a healthier way of life" this week. By healthier I mean somewhat of a diet. Eating healthier and going to the gym. I haven't had pop in almost a week! I am secretly dying inside ;) And I want to eat a whole chocolate cake (and I don't even like cake!) I have found you start to crave odd things on a diet!

I am enjoying the gym! It is hard to get myself away from homework, and go and do it. But once I do, I feel like superwomen! I am so happy Reese is doing this with me! We motivate each other! I am slowly adding dollars to my jar :) (a dollar in my jar each time I exercise !)

My diet secret is to make it a life style- not a diet. Don't take away all the foods you love, because you won't be able to stick to that very long. Let yourself have at least one day a week where you can come a cupcake or whatever and you will do great

I am trying to make it my lifestyle, and soon when I get to the place I want to be. I will have a "cheat" day. :) And when I get to that point- I will eat ICE CREAM! haha
