Halloween Bug

The Halloween bug has bitten me and it bit me hard! I love everything about Halloween! The candy, the costumes, the parties, scary movies, carving pumpkins, haunted houses, and especially the DECORATIONS!

I have been trying to be a little more craft lately, and lemme tell you, I kind of enjoy it. I see stuff on pinterest (if you are not on Pinterest, get there! and if you need an invite, let me know!) and I want to make EVERYTHING! but I have to pick my favorites. I looked for a fun Halloween wreath but didn't find one I loved, so here is the big news:

I made my Halloween wreath from my head. That may not seem like a lot to most of you, but for me this is like a huge stepping stone for me. Like when a baby is weened from the mama. I was weened.
Do you like?

Remember this was my first wreath ever, so don't judge to harshly! ;)

Now that I am done bragging, I will let you in on a little secret: spray paint...is amazing! And no, I do not huff it, I just use it to transform :)

Here is a perfect example:

This used to be a red color, and it didn't match anything (but I really liked it!) So here is what I did, I took some bronze spray paint (which I am using to turn all my gold door handles into bronze ones!) and now it looks like this:

So don't worry if you don't like the color of something, spray paint of your choice can fix that!

I hope you all are taking advantage of fall, and doing fun fall things, because I know I am! :)
