Cutting Corners

Between going to school full time, working, and trying to be a good wife, my days don't have much spare time. I find anyway I can to cut corners and save a little time. (I could stop using facebook, and pinterest and that would save me a great deal of time-- but how much fun is that?)

Here are a few of my time saving secrets

1. Nair- I hate shaving my legs. It takes so much time and end with me having nicks all over my legs! I have this great Nair called shower power, and I put it on 5 mins before showering (it says 1 min-but I like to make sure!) and when I get out of the shower in the morning, my legs are incredibly smooth!

2. After shower snoozes- I think blow drying my hair from dripping wet to dry is a waste of time! (not to mention bad for my hair!) So I get up early to shower, than crawl back into my warm bed for a half hour. By the time I get up, my hair needs about 3 mins of drying! It rocks my world!

3. Mismatched socks- This one is my personal favorite! I think matching socks are overrated! No one sees your socks anyway, and so I never match my socks. I just throw my socks in the drawer when they come out of the dryer I just toss em in the drawer! (no wasted time matching socks, and wondering if the dryer at my socks!) I took pictures of my socks the past two days, and here is a taste of what my socks look like everyday:
Yesterday :)

Today :)

This came to bite me in the bum in California( I had packed all shorts) and of course I needed socks and tennis shoes to walk around Disneyland all day. When I got there.. I realized--- none of my socks matched! And everyone could see! I guess that is what I get for cutting corners ;)

I have never tried this. but tomorrow I am going to try a new time saver-- Spraying vinegar (3 parts vinegar, 1 part water) on my windshield and windows of my car at night because it is supposed to stop the windows from freezing over (which is a must in Idaho!) Hopefully it will stop me from having to scrap windows!!

What things do you do to save time?

Have you tried the vinegar idea before? Does it work?
