Let me tell you all about one year ago yesterday, on June 7. 2010, I was proposed to by the most AMAZING guy ever! (well in my eyes!- I hope all ladies think their guy is the best!)
Flashback-
Reese was going to school in Rexburg, and I was working in Blackfoot, it was a Monday and I happened to have the day off of work. And of course- I wanted to go see Reese! We had talked about me coming up, and we planned to hang out after he got out of class. So that morning I did lunch with my girlfriend Tifani, and went shopping with my mom. Reese and I had been ring shopping the previous week, but I wasn't expecting my ring to be done for another week.
So I got up to Rexburg to see Reese, and we were chillin on his couch, trying to decide what to do, when he remembered he needed to have pictures of nature made landscapes for his landscaping class, so he asked me if I would go on a drive with him and take them. And of course I agreed, anytime with Reese I could get-I TOOK!
So we went driving around randomly(0r so I thought) and came upon a beautiful waterfall, Cave Falls. And Reese asked me to get out so we could get a better picture of the waterfall. We walked down the little trail to the falls and while admiring the falls, all of a sudden (to my complete surprise) Reese got down on one knee. I don't remember all he said but I do remember him saying, "Shayna Jo, You are my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without you, (some other stuff I wish I remembered!!) and then he asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes, I would have been a fool is I said no!! And we hugged and kissed! We were SOOOO in love!!!
And good news, We are still that much in love now! He rocks my world!
That was a GREAT DAY! I love my Reese :)
Gotta love the mushy blog posts huh? If you hated the mush, sorry, but it's my blog and today I wanted to be mushy ;)
