I have learned a valuable lesson this past week, there are some things in life that you don't miss until they are gone. And I have sure taken my wedding ring for granted. It had a small chip in one of the diamonds, so the jeweler had to send it all the way to the state of Texas to get it replaced. They told me ten days at the most, but those ten days quickly turned into 3 weeks!
I never really understood the power of a wedding ring, until I didn't have one. Check out clerks, boys on campus, and random boys I would run into would actually take precious moments out of my day to try and flirt with me. I would humor them, and let them talk-- because I wasn't going to come out and say, "Don't waste your time, I am married" I mean at first I was flattered, but after awhile it just got tedious.
Plus, girls kept asking, "Where is your wedding ring?" And I wanted nothing more than to show them my bling, because let's face it.. Reese did an amazing job picking it out! (I am very proud of my ring, awful huh?)
Anyway, I finally got my ring back on Saturday, and it looks better than ever! I keep taking peeks at it when no one is looking ;) If I could give advice on wedding rings to anyone, don't buy it at Samuels! :)

I'm SO glad I got mine at Fred Meyer Jewelers. They do any repairs and re-dipping in house, so the jeweler is always there :D It's so nice. I'm sorry yours was gone so long!! I hate even having mine gone one day to have it re-dipped!
